Offering....

I offer you my everything
My dirty hands and heart
Take from me my offering
And let the healing start
Wash me clean and renew in me
A faithful trusting soul
You're my God, my Lord, my King
The One who makes me whole

If only we could be so childlike and offer our gift so sincerely.

Thanks for your comment and visiting my blog, etoile!

I've been reading St. Therese, and St. Faustina, both very Childlike souls. Both died young, chronologically, but their spirits were those of children, and they've kept me aware of the childlike heart inside me, too. I tend to be a rather "bratty" one at times, but hopefully more of the "trusting" one will come forth more often as time goes by. I'm praying to 'remain that child' as I mature in the faith, for only those like children can enter the Kingdom, and if we pray for His will, it will be done. Amen! Keep on believing...and go skip a rock across a waveless pond, or build a sandcastle or fly a kite...you'll feel like a kid again. Just keep the wonder of the child alive, and crawl on Abba's lap tonight, and let him sing you to sleep. It works!
